London – Sam
I’m Sam, a chaplain serving in East London’s strip clubs on a weekly basis, dedicated to supporting the well-being of dancers within the adult entertainment industry. With a vision to develop teams of chaplains across the city, I’m passionate about offering women compassion and care in everyday spaces. Alongside my chaplaincy work, I’m a creative at heart—deeply inspired by fashion, and I find joy and expression through painting and sculpture.
Southampton – Ruth
I’m Ruth, a chaplain in 3 clubs in Southampton. I started the job in 2021 and now head out every week - it’s such a privileged to have been able to get to know the dancers, security and mangers over that time. In my spare time, I love preloved designer fashion, sunbathing and salsa dancing!
Portsmouth – Paris
I’m Paris, I work in the strip clubs in the Portsmouth area. I am passionate about empowering women to walk in their true identity. On a personal level I love all things travel and coffee related especially in the Southeast Asia region.
Hastings – Sarah
I’m Sarah, a Chaplain in a lap dancing club in Hastings, offering compassionate, non-judgemental support to women in the adult entertainment industry. I also run a weekly drop- in space, where women can rest, connect, and access support in a safe, welcoming environment. My heart is to help women thrive-emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I am passionate about creating spaces where they feel valued, heard, and free to be the best version of themselves. I also love the outdoors and find joy in walking with family and friends, running and Pilates.
Brighton – Clare
I’m Clare, I am serving as a chaplain in a strip club in Brighton on a weekly basis, offering support and listening to the dancers and hosts within this club. I also am dedicated to creating safe and welcoming spaces for women to belong and build community, empowering and encouraging them along their personal journey.
I love walking in the country, swimming and spending time with family & friends.
Relationship Counselling
Emily – Southampton & Portsmouth
Emily is an experienced, specialist Relationship Counsellor having worked as a therapist for over a decade, including having trained with - and worked for - the National relationship counselling organisation Relate for 8 years. She works and supports many couples and individuals, helping them improve their relationships in all areas.
Emily has been part of the Eden Southampton team since 2022, and is additionally in partnership with the Eden Portsmouth team too. It quickly became apparent that the benefit of delivering a relationship counselling service within the 3 strip clubs in Southampton and the 1 strip club in Portsmouth, could be hugely beneficial for the dancers working there. Emily is so passionate about helping to support women and their wellbeing, so is incredibly excited to be a part of this amazing collaboration.
